In our modern capitalist society a few drive Cadalacs while millions walk barefoot. A few eat at expensive restauronts while millions starve. This is the nature of capitalism: Exploit the weak to make the strong stronger. This exploitation will continue for as long as the world is ruled by the Capitalist elite. We do not need to continue this path. There is hope, and this hope is Communism. In a Communist society there would no longer be opresive developed countrys and opressed developing countrys, but instead all countries would be developed countries. Imagine what could be acomplish if 6 billion people were all equipped with the worlds most modern machinery. Food would be available for everyone and would be practicly free. Medicines could be widely distributed ending disease. Centers of education would be available for everyone. Brilliant minds that were chained down through exploitation would now be able to share there knoweldge and ideas to the world. More signifacantly, Communism would spread peace and unity across the world and end all wars.

You have a very good explaination of communism. I just came to this site 2 minutes ago and I am begining to see you have real knowledge on what you talk about. Most of the people just think communism = bad, government slavery equal pay and nothing more. You have made a very good point that genuine communism or socialism never exsited. I believe moraly that communism is the most moral and human way of government. But history tells us it never succeded in achieving its real form. And if you seriously think about it, it will never take place, it its genuine form at least, in the society. In "How it will work" you talk of organizing people into units but still keeping competition on to increase efficiency. Good idea but how will your competition work? Like giving them a little extra food or giving them a post in an organization which will be wothless in a moneyless economy anyway? And after all, in reality capitalims and money is the spirit that keeps a man working and I think one who is extra-intelligent deserves to be rewarded by some extra money which can mean respect, power and happiness. You must find out some way of rewarding the smart in a moneyless system and when you do, you will know that you are going more and more away from the real communism. And the money system is as interesting as it is. I have not seen anything more puzzling and exciting and complicated and versatile. After all you will need some meduim of exchange in your communist system and again money is defined as anything which people accept as a meduim of exchange. So I know its moral ... ON the topic of the "communist" governments, they have never exsisted. The Soviet Union was not only repressive in some areas, but they were Socialist Imperialist that practiced hemgemoism upon there boardering coutries. As Marx stated: "The working class has no country, on class". The soviet union has forgotten this and has tried to bring all boarder countries into Mother Russia. Cuba was only a running dog of thee USSR. They are now still socialist, but have become Revisionist communists. And in the words of Lenin: We must forever fight the revisionist movement. Many say human nature will prevent it from occuring. But people need to look inside themselves and think. Is your personal ambition to become a wealthy person more important than a family of children going hungry? Is wealth and power more important than everyone being treated equally, regardless of race, religion or any other miniscule factor? Communism can, and will, be a success somewhere if people can sacrifice wealth for the good of all people. And people who cannot sacrifice are disgusting, shallow people. The dominant working class needs to come together in support of each other. We all need to stand up against the 1% of the population controlling 99% of the money. Economic equality needs not to be desired, it needs to be demanded. The people of the world have to organize, and after that nothing will stop us. What I have read on this site is the philosophy of Marx without the practicality. In essence, anarchy with an atmosphere of helpfulness. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a misanthropist. I'm very optimistic for the human race. But I do feel as if the "Communism" you are talking about is not any political movement other than anarchism. You can't expect philosophy to adjudicate a nation because- 1. A lot of philosophy is not practical. 2. A lot of people are practical. and 3. Most people don't care about philosophy.

The only thing that keeps it from ever existing is selfishness. True all people are equal which does not motivate anyone to succeed, but that is the reason why there is so much corruption in other forms of government. In order for Communism to be successful, everyone must care about the well-being of their neighbor before the well-being of themselves. If everyone did that then there would be peace everywhere. Unfortunatly this world is to corrupt to see that.

The state apparatus will be needed to counteract the inherent aggressive force and threat of capitalism elsewhere. This is also why in a world of immense capitalist threat you will never even have socialism as defined above in FAQ. Capitalism and imperialistic peril are also the reason why nations with socialist ambitions never have fully achieved their marxist-leninist goals and some nations have degenerated into solely a one-party control-system. This is not to say that not great things have been achieved in many so called communist states. Anyway the bull--bleep-- definitions of socialism and communism are of course the interest of the imperialists and uphold, refined and cultivated by them. In the face of growing global poverty and the need for a global division of labor, communism is inevetable. If we cannot spread the production of different goods to where it's best suited and put an end to unuseful production in a global perspective, we will see for example a continuation of the devastation of the rain forests. Our cause is not benefitted from throwing --bleep-- at former USSR but we have to analyze and explain why things came out the way they did and mainly that could be done by viewing the history of aggression on the USSR. I was wondering why they are so Anti-Israel, as Israel has many kibbutzes, (socialist communes). Israel is no more capitalistic than her neighbors.
