Hello Ben,

My schedule is going to change next week, and I will be much busier
for a while. After the next few weeks, my schedule will calm down
some, but I may not be available as often as I might like. Therefore,
I'll try to do as much as I can in terms of my reply to Frank today
and tomorrow. Hopefully, by Monday I'll have something useful.

But first, a few things:

The mistake you mention is one that I caught after sending the letter
to Frank, and it was indeed not my intent to imply that every SAIC
supporter had to agree with a certain vision of a future society.
What I meant to say was something along these lines:

If SAIC does not openly discuss the question of a future society, new
activists will be reluctant to join up because they have doubts that
there is a real alternative to capitalism and the imperialist system
that comes with it. On the other hand, if SAIC_does_openly discuss
these goals, they will be able to

1. Resolve the differences of opinion that SAIC has regarding the
alternative to imperialism and develop the clear vision needed for
the long-term

2. Use the discussion to show that a world without bourgeois
rule_is_possible and attract new activists that will advance the
movement.

However, I didn't say that, so I'll be sure to make what I really
meant clear.

I still want to address a couple of other issues, but I plan on
having them in a sort of appendix at the end so that if Frank wants
to be satisfied by hearing why you're not an anarchist, he can, but
the focus will still be with more important arguments.
